Auran Shereef is the Founder and CEO of Konnex Inc., a serial technology entrepreneur and former NASA engineer building companies across software, events, mobility, health innovation, and community services.
His work is shaped by both entrepreneurship and personal experience. After losing his mother, Fauzia, to a heart attack at age 59, and later confronting a hereditary cardiovascular risk condition of his own, Auran became deeply interested in preventive health, patient support, and technology that can help people make better-informed decisions.
He has studied whole-food, plant-based nutrition, interviewed Dr. Caldwell B. Esselstyn Jr., and helped develop concepts including Emergency Buddy and Arterial IQ. Through Konnex's nonprofit work, Auran also supports survivors of domestic violence, single mothers, and families experiencing displacement by organizing donations of hygiene products and essential household supplies.
Across every Konnex initiative, his goal remains the same: use technology, business, and community to help people form meaningful connections and improve their lives.
